The Shure Model SCM800 is a full-featured, eight-channel microphone mixer designed for sound reinforcement, general audio recording, and audio-visual systems. It offers compatibility with any low-impedance, balanced dynamic or condenser microphone, including wireless microphone systems. Each input channel features adjustable two-band EQ, switchable microphone/line-level operation, and 48V phantom power. The unit also includes a 1/4-inch send/receive insert jack per channel for flexible signal processing. Up to four SCM800 mixers can be linked, supporting systems with up to 32 input channels. Its robust chassis and circuitry provide high RF resistance for reliable performance. A peak-responding output limiter with selectable thresholds and LED indicator ensures optimal audio levels.
