The FBT Mitus 118SA is a high-performance active subwoofer designed for professional sound reinforcement and touring applications. This bass-reflex enclosure features an 18-inch B&C neodymium woofer with a 3-inch voice coil for deep low-frequency reproduction. An integrated Class D amplifier delivers 1200W RMS of power with highly efficient thermal management. The cabinet is constructed from 0.70-inch Baltic birch plywood with a rugged, scratch-resistant black finish for durability. Onboard Digital Signal Processing provides eight distinct presets to optimize the subwoofer for various acoustic environments and configurations. Integrated ergonomic handles and a top-mount M20 stand socket ensure easy transport and versatile mounting options. A heavy-duty steel grille protects the internal components while maintaining maximum acoustic transparency.
